Storing your data files in the cloud

You can store your HireMate data files in the cloud using a file hosting service such as Microsoft's OneDrive. Here are the steps you should take:
  1. Create a folder in OneDrive called HireMate.
  2. Install HireMate on your PC.
  3. Copy all the files from the HireMate folder on the PC and paste them into the HireMate folder in OneDrive.
  4. Right click on the shortcut to HireMate on your desktop, select Properties from the menu and then the Shortcut tab. Change "Start in" to the HireMate folder in OneDrive.
You can share your OneDrive data files with other PCs if you wish to run HireMate on more than one computer, even at different locations. To share the data on another PC:
  1. Install HireMate on the PC.
  2. Right click on the shortcut to HireMate on the desktop, select Properties from the menu and then the Shortcut tab. Change "Start in" to the HireMate folder in OneDrive.
